Sorce Team Volunteer at Abbeyfield to Support Community Fundraising Efforts

Members of the Sorce team rolled up their sleeves yesterday as they spent the day volunteering at Abbeyfield Winnersh, helping to prepare the grounds ahead of a series of upcoming fundraising events.
The volunteer day formed part of Sorce’s ongoing commitment to supporting local communities and giving back to organisations that make a positive difference in people’s lives.
Throughout the day, the team worked together on a range of outdoor improvement projects designed to enhance the care home’s grounds for residents, visitors and future events. Activities included mowing lawns, weeding garden areas, jet washing outdoor spaces, planting flowers around the gazebo, and creating a brand-new fairy garden to bring an extra touch of colour and enjoyment to the grounds.
The improvements will help ensure the outdoor spaces are looking their best as Abbeyfield prepares to welcome guests and supporters to its forthcoming fundraising events.
Volunteering and community support are an important part of life at Sorce. As a company, we value the strong relationships we build with our clients and the communities they serve. Throughout the year, our team takes part in a variety of volunteering initiatives, dedicating time and expertise to causes that matter.
Speaking about the day, the team reflected on how rewarding it was to contribute to a project that will benefit both residents and visitors alike.
At Sorce, we believe that creating positive connections extends beyond the workplace. Whether through supporting our clients, delivering innovative digital workplace solutions, or volunteering within our local communities, we’re committed to making a meaningful impact wherever we can.
