Senior Software Developer

Sorce is a growing software company which develops intranet software and desk booking solutions. We are well established in the intranet market and have 20 years of rich history and experience. We have a close-knit team of passionate staff who are largely hybrid workers.

We are looking for a talented Senior Software Developer to join our Juggl product team (www.juggl.co.uk). You will be working with the product team with new and existing functionality, with a focus on usability.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a close-knit team of developers, designers, and testers
  • Understand the requirements of our business and our user community
  • Work with the team to plan development and deliver new features, working from interactive prototypes, user flows, and high-level feature requirements
  • Own the overall architecture of our cloud-based web application, ensuring it remains future proof, scalable, and extendable
  • Ensure that we are making effective and efficient use of appropriate Azure services, with an eye on cost and performance
  • Communicate key architectural decisions and reasonings with the rest of the product team and the Product Owner

  • .Net Core Identity Server (Duende Identity Server)

  • You will be comfortable communicating directly with stakeholders at all levels of our business.

Ideal, but not essential:

  • Experience working within an Agile (Scrum) development methodology
  • Experience of using Azure DevOps, SQL management studio.

Inside Sales Executive

The Inside Sales Executive will be part of the Sales and Marketing Team of a growing software business and work with potential customers to guide them through the sales process.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of our products and be able to articulate their benefits to potential customers
  • Build relationships with potential customers to establish trust and rapport
  • Nurture leads with the aim of converting them to customers
  • Maintain regular contact with all leads and prospective customers, from their first enquiry through to the end of the sales process
  • Support the Sales team in ensuring all actions are being completed effectively following any sales and marketing activity
  • Support the end-to-end process of delivering our marketing events. This includes managing invites and speaking with attendees both before and after the events
  • Identify sales opportunities via tender notifications and external tools such as Zoominfo and LinkedIn
  • Manage the quality of all lead and prospect data held with company CRM systems
  • Occasional cold calling of potential opportunities identified via external tools

Essential skills and experience:

  • Sales support experience in a B2B sales role
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build and maintain relationships via phone and email
  • Ability to write engaging and professional communications
  • Well organised and diligent
  • Keen eye for detail
  • CRM system experience
  • Strong IT skills

Location:

  • Hybrid working with occasional office attendance in Newbury (at least 2 days per month)

Hours:

  • Full time (37.5 hours per week)
