The Goodwood estate choose Sorce
We are delighted to announce that Goodwood has chosen Sorce to implement an Engage solution to facilitate employee engagement for its 700 staff. The portal will be used across the 12,000-acre estate, which includes an organic farm, four restaurants, two 18-hole golf courses, a motor circuit, a racecourse, a sculpture park, a private members club, an aerodrome, a health club, a four-star hotel and a 10-bedroom luxury retreat.
No existing employee engagement portal is currently in place and company communications are currently managed via all-staff emails. This makes it very hard to share the amazing news and information that the organisation generates with all of its staff, especially as a large proportion of staff are not desk based and therefore have no access to email.
A new intranet is now required, which will enable the organisation to communicate in a more efficient and modern way with all of its employees. The portal will also enable some key processes to be managed, such as collecting information from staff via online forms, event booking and staff onboarding.
“Once Goodwood had decided to implement an intranet to improve employee engagement around the Estate, I carried out extensive research to find the best potential provider who could deal effectively with the wide range of businesses that encompass Goodwood. Engage came out top in all elements of our selection criteria and now the project has commenced the Sorce implementation team has proven our selection was correct” said Di Hudson, Group Head of IT.
As well as award-winning software, The Goodwood Estate will receive the following from Sorce:

- An upgrade of Engage every year and enrolment in our Success Programme
